Happy Mother's Day!
To all the mothers and mother-figures in the life of NVBC we want to say a massive THANK YOU! Thank you for your never-ending love and care. Thank you for your kindness and patience. Thank you for your wisdom, humour and grace. Thank you for the ways you support, champion and invest deeply into the lives of others. Thank you for all the sacrifices we see you make, and for all the sacrifices that go unseen (but not unappreciated!). Thank you for modelling genuine love for God and for helping point us to Jesus. Last, but not least, a huge thank you for being you!
Ladies of NVBC we love you, we appreciate you so much more than we say, we pray for you and wish you all a very happy mother's day!
Celebrating Baptisms
What a joy it was to see 12 of our youth and young adults express their commitment to follow Jesus through Baptism last Sunday night!! We encourage you to thank God and pray for: Amity, Meg, Jacinta, Kaden, Tom, Leo, Henry, Sophie, Cooper, Imogen, Jed and Luke as they each continue to follow Jesus.

May Mission Month
Each year we set aside the month of May to have a special focus on God's mission.

Our May Mission Month appeal is also open. We are raising money for an exciting project, bringing together expertise in discipleship training with indigenous leaders to create a First Nations discipleship training course.

Church Prayer Walk (Tuesday)
It has been on my (Travis') heart for a while to organise a church prayer walk and during our last church prayer meeting I felt a strong God prompt that it was time! So, I would love to encourage you to join with me this coming Tuesday night as we prayer walk through the church property. Auditorium, foyer, prayer room, offices, hall, courtyard... stay for one or two or pray through the lot with us!
In each location we will have the chance to thank God for the activities that happen in that space, listen to God's leadings, and intercede over the life and ministries of NVBC together.
Working Bee
New date: Saturday May 18
Tomorrow's Working Bee has been postponed due to wet weather. If you can make it next Saturday 18th May, from 8am onwards, please come along and lend a hand to make our grounds look beautiful, with weeding, trimming and other gardening jobs. Let Bob know if you can help out.
