15th April 2026

Try Alpha with us

Have you ever asked yourself the question "is there more to life than this?" Starting April 26, we are hosting an Alpha course where you can ask and wrestle with this and many more questions about life, faith and meaning.

Our Alpha course will be a warm, friendly and open space to connect and explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning together. There is no pressure to speak or to commit to the whole course, first we encourage you to just come along to week one and see if this is something helpful for you. Each week we'll start with sharing a meal together, so please let us know you plan on coming along here.

(PS. And if you love helping make people feel welcome and holding space for big questions, we'd love you to consider joining the Alpha host team! Please contact Brad and Jenny (our Alpha coordinators) to let them know you are interested in finding out more.)

Bible restock

Over the Easter weekend we had stocked up on Bibles ready to give to anyone wanting to read about the life of Jesus for themselves who didn't yet have their own Bible. This week we have restocked our supply and the invitation is there once more!

If you do not have a physical Bible and would like to read about the life and teaching of Jesus for yourself, please visit our Info Desk on Sunday and collect one. There is no cost to you, it is our gift as we believe that everyone should have access to this life-changing source of Truth.

Avengers …. Assemble!!

Last week we had 62 campers in Out of Home Care camp come and hear the word of God!

Our theme for the week was Superheroes and our 35 leaders definitely emulated the love of God to show these campers that Jesus is their ultimate super Saviour!

We had 22 commitments to Christ and 7 re-commitments - praise God!!

Our very own Zach shared some incredible and engaging talks which involved scavenger hunts, puzzles, a skit, a full canoe, memory verse challenges and games.

Dylan and Nathan helped run our program for the week! They ran games, organised activities, a superhero boot camp and made opportunities for campers to experience things they hadn’t before - like stand up paddle boards!

Joné, Jana, and Brooklyn led our campers this week! They had a cabin group who they stayed with for the week and got to know really well! They shared devotions, prayer with the campers, led small groups and danced their hearts out in chapel. I also have it on good authority that Joné went all the way to the top of the giant swing!

I had the privilege of leading our incredible team alongside my co-director. We definitely witnessed the profound kingdom impact our leaders had on these campers and continue to pray that their impact will have ongoing effects in both these kids and their carers lives.

Thank you so much for your prayers going into this week, we appreciated your love and support! We could really see God move through the week.

If you’re interested in learning more about what we do or supporting this ministry feel free to come have a chat! We would love to share more about the work we do!
