The Gathering Conference Program

It is only 9 days to go until The Gathering Conference weekend begins with an epic Friday night opening Session!! A big thanks to all who have rego'd already and are joining with our anticipation for how God will move throughout the weekend. Our guest speaker Daniel is pumped too and says hi below.

The Gathering Conference is the chance to set time aside for God to begin a new thing in each of us. It is the chance for us to continue deepening our community, be practically equipped for everyday living and to share in the same peak spiritual experience that will help propel us into next year. We'd love you to not miss out!

Below is the program for next weekend's Conference, with the incredible line up of elective workshops too.

CONFERENCE FAQ

What if I can't make the whole weekend?

We believe every part of The Gathering Conference weekend will be incredible and valuable, but we also know that not everyone will be able to make every part of it. That's okay and doesn't mean you need to miss out on the parts that you can make. That's the beauty of an non-residential onsite Conference! Our encouragement would be to engage in as much of the weekend as you are able to.

To explore partial ticketing options, please get in touch here.

What about Youth on the Friday Night?

Being a school term Friday, The Valley Youth is on and all teenagers have automatic entry to The Gathering Conference Friday Night session. The opening main session will lean into this beautiful intergenerational space, worship will be led by The Valley Youth's Elijah Copland, and our keynote speaker is primed to speak to highschoolers and up.

Can I join in for the dinner and the Soul Survivor Worship?

Of course! For those rego'd the Conference tickets are all-inclusive of dinner and Saturday night. If you aren't rego'd because you are unable to make the Saturday morning main session and workshops, we'd still very much love you to be a part of our community dinner and evening session. The Soul Survivor Band are coming up especially to lead us in a time of worship, and Daniel will lead us towards a powerful opportunity for prayer and prayer ministry.

If you would to join for the dinner and worship night only, we do need to know numbers for catering and dietary requirements. You can RSVP for Sat night here.

How will next Sunday work?

The final main session of Conference will be Sunday morning, kicking off at our usual service time of 9:30am. All are welcome and there is no need to rego for this session. Our Kingdom Kids program will be back for Term 4 and running during the session. Important to note: there is no PM Service on Conference Weekend (we're joining together for the Conference weekend finale in the morning).

What if I'm not in the position to be able to pay full price?

Please please please, do not let money be a reason to miss out on our Conference experience. Chat to any of our pastoral team - there are partial and full sponsorships available and we would love you to be there!

This looks amazing... can I invite my friends?

Of course! Although we are running the Conference for our church community, if you know someone who would be blessed by joining with us or attending one of our elective workshops, they are more than welcome (but do need to rego like anyone else!).

This Sunday

This Sunday guest preacher Phil Evans will be with us at both services continuing the sharing on embracing faith-based risk. Phil was previously the Senior Pastor of Hawkesbury Valley Baptist Church and now serves in prison chaplaincy.

Kids packs will be available during the service.

This Sunday is also our Operation Christmas Child box collection day, where we collate and pray over our OCC gifts before sending them overseas. We will also have a special time of prayer for our year 12's heading into their HSC exams.
