The world may say that we are heading towards the "silly season", yet for us at NVBC we believe that we are approaching a season of spiritual significance!
Across our Christmas Season we are facilitating opportunities to be deeply impacted by the love of God, who came and dwelt among us. And that good news of great joy for all the world!! There will be moments to remember, laugh, mourn, celebrate and invite our friends along to. Below is a little Christmas Calendar of Events to be across all that is coming up.

Seniors Christmas Picnic (Thurs Nov 27) - for our seniors to gather for an end of year celebration over a Christmas lunch together down at Woy Woy.
Gingerbread House Making (Sat Dec 6) - a fun, creative, community building opportunity to come as a family, with your friends and invite those from beyond our church.
NVBC Carols by Candlelight (Sun Dec 7) - a perfect invite opportunity and a way to serve our neighbourhood as we eat, drink, celebrate and sing of the birth of Jesus together.
Carols in the Stadium (Sat Dec 20) - a regional expression of unity and outreach happening in the Stadium as churches from across the Central Coast join together for a night of Christmas Carols. Find out more here.
Kingdom Kids Takeover Service (Sun Dec 21 AM) - come be blessed and moved as our Kingdom Kids lead us in a Christmas themed service.
Blue Christmas Service (Sun Dec 21 PM) - our annual sacred space to grieve and name our sorrows before God. We invite Emmanuel, the God who is with us, to meet and minister to us in the midst of our pain.
Christmas Eve Service (Dec 24 PM) - an evening of wonder celebrating the night of Jesus' birth.
Christmas Day Service (Dec 25 AM) - a full, fun and Jesus-centric Christmas Celebration Service. Bring your neighbours, family and friends and let's share about our hope found in Jesus.

We never get tired of saying it... we LOVE our church family. We love seeing our young people step out in faith and find ways to serve the world, and it was so encouraging hearing Leo, Mercy and Amity share about their upcoming missions trips to Cambodia and Zambia. With a church value of being 'grateful and generous' we also loved seeing our church rally around them with kindness and generosity to help support them on their way. Last Sunday's bake sale was a huge success (tasty too!) and helped them raise $1,800 towards their trips.
From the three "Thank you so much to everyone who baked, bought sweet treats and donated so generously on Sunday. We are so encouraged by the support of our church family and can't wait to share with you what God does in and through us this summer"
Gift a Bible to an SRE student
Through the work of SRE in our local Primary School, this year we have the opportunity to gift a Bible to each of the 20 graduating year 6 SRE students at Niagara Park Primary. This Sunday after the service, 20 Bibles will be available to sponsor at the Info Desk ($11each).
We would love to see each Bible/Student be prayed for by the person, couple or household sponsoring the purchase of their Bible. This is our heart for this work, and so we are limiting sponsorship to one Bible per household.

That's right! BAMCAMP is coming!
BAMCAMP is The Valley's annual camp. It's the highlight of our year!
It is for all high school aged youth (yr7-12).
The youth leaders have already been prepping so much exciting stuff. There's epic games, tasty food, live worship music and inspiring bible talks. You don't want to miss it!
And this year we going SOMEWHERE NEW: Crosslands Youth & Convention Centre. We are excited to explore what new possibilities this venue can offer our youth community.

This Sunday
Sunday AM: Louise Eccleston from Coast Point Baptist Church in Avoca will continue our Term 4 AM teaching series, looking at Numbers ch 20.
Sunday PM: Sunny Brown will continue our Term 4 PM teaching series, looking at Mark . Come prepared by reading through Mark 7:1-23.
We will celebrate communion together at both services. If you are joining us via livestream Sunday morning, bring some elements ready to participate from wherever you are.
