2025: A Year of Pursuing Jesus Together

As 2025 makes way for 2026, we want to give an enormous PRAISE GOD and share a heartfelt THANK YOU for an incredible year together!!

At the beginning of 2025, we set the theme of 'Pursue' over the year as a church from Philippians 3:12-14. Our heart and hope was to see a year of pursuing Jesus - both individually and collectively - and taking hold of all that he has for us. It flowed from the faith-fuelled conviction that normal discipleship means experiencing ongoing renewal, growth and transformation as we follow Jesus!

The changing of the years gives us a natural marker of time and brings us the opportunity to prayerfully reflect and give thanks on a year of pursuing Jesus. Such "selah" moments in life are often few and far between, and we are wise to make the most of them.

If you do not have your own pattern or set of questions you reflect on at the end of each year, we share the below to help guide you:

This Sunday we are setting aside the service for a space to collectively give thanks to God for all His goodness experienced over the past year. Appropriately, as part of the service, there will be the public sharing of testimonies to give glory to God and to bring encouragement to one another!

Perhaps you have a testimony of a healing (physical or other, partial or complete), of an answered prayer, or of a 'God moment' in the life of a not-yet-Christian? Maybe you have a story of provision, protection or encounter with God, or of how God's strength and comfort has sustained you in the midst of a challenging season? Whatever testimonies you have from the year, we encourage you to consider whether you might share it publicly this Sunday.

If you do have a testimony that you know you'd like to share, it is helpful for our service planning if you can give a heads up beforehand by emailing here.
