Stewarding Our Giftings

from Travis

Last Sunday we explored the powerful story and example of Bezalel and Oholiab from Exodus. Their story is an inspiring and challenging one of empowering, obedience, and significant contribution as God directed them. If you missed it, you can catch up on the livestream here:

A key takeaway from their story for us each to consider is: how are we stewarding our gifting? Or to put the question more broadly in the wording of Exodus 31:2,

How are we stewarding our wisdom, understanding, knowledge and God-given skills?

The pastoral team are well aware that uncovering our God-given skills, and the unique contribution we are called to make with them, can be a quite process. It is a process that we are committed to walking alongside you in and helping you discover your giftings with God.

If you are looking to uncover your God-given gifts and skills, and would find it helpful to have one of our team help resource you as you do, let us know via the button below.

Movie Night

A big thanks to all who joined for last Saturday night's movie night! It was such a simple yet wholesome night of connecting over food and hanging out together. 50 people gathered with one another and we look forward to our upcoming Connect Weekend opportunities for more chances to continuing being a community together.

Zach had the privilege of being a part and will continue as the youth representative on the Central Coast team with the aim of strategising how we can better minister to youth and young adults on the Central Coast.

The Central Coast executive team are excited to work with Central Coast pastoral teams. Coming out of the summit, Zach has been inspired to investigate partnering with youth leaders on the Coast to get the gospel further into high schools and invest in raising up the next generation of young church leaders.

Look out for upcoming work by the Central Coast executive team including an awesome video about the history of Baptist churches on the Central Coast!
