A Night of Unity
On Sunday night NVBC had the privilege to host a Coast Baptists Combined Worship and Prayer night. And what a night it was!! It was a beautiful expression of oneness and Gospel unity as around 450 people gathered onsite from Baptist Churches right across the Central Coast.
On the night we heard stories of the way Coast Baptist Churches are partnering together to invest in emerging leaders, pray for the Central Coast and work collaboratively to reach those who don't yet know Jesus in our growing region. There continues to be a shared sense that God is working in an undeniable way in our generation and that we must each give ourselves fully to our calling to be on mission together with Jesus!
To get a taste of the specialness of the night, have a listen to a little snippet of our auditorium filled with the voices of worshippers from the combined churches.
A big thank you to all who volunteered to help make this night happen, and an extra special shout out to the Catering Team for cooking and serving hundreds of people incredibly well!
The Gathering Conference
We are heading towards a highlight weekend at NVBC with The Gathering Conference!! Held onsite over the weekend of Oct 17-19, we are excited for a high value, high impact weekend together of being equipped and growing in community together.
Adult Tickets: cover all keynote sessions, expert workshop presenters, conference materials and both lunch and dinner on the Saturday (plus other sneaky snacks along the way).
Kids Tickets: cover an amazing kids program that runs from 9:30am-3:30pm on Sat, and includes Bible Stories, Crafts, Giant games, Inflatable slide, Lego and a special event. There will also be prayer stations running Fri night for years 4-6, a move night on Sat for kids who like to stay up late and our full Kingdom Kids program on Sunday morning.
Ministry Highlight: Flourish Hampers
A big thank you to all who brought in non-perishable food over the past few weeks to contribute to serving the needs of those experiencing homelessness in the Central Coast.
On Saturday afternoon some of our wonderful ladies of NVBC joined together for a time of afternoon tea, packing hampers together and praying over those who will receive them hampers. The hampers will now be distributed through Health on the Streets and the proceeds from the event will be donated to this important local community work.
