What happens at BAMCAMP?
This is the highlight of the year in our youth calendar! Epic games, inspiring sessions to help young people grow in their relationship with God, friendships formed and deepend!
What is the transport for BAMCAMP?
Transport to and from Glenrock Scout Camp is via leaders cars (holding at least a green provisional license) or by bus.
Meet at church (149 Narara Valley Drive, Narara) at 3:30pm on Friday 23rd.
Pick up from church at 3pm on Sunday 25th.
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Students will sleep in cabins with bunk beds. Due to our child protection policies leaders do not stay in the same cabins as young people, although there is supervision close by. Your child will stay in a cabin with their connect group (those that are the same age and gender as them).
Can I contact my child while they are at camp?
Mobile reception is not great at Glenrock, and service is intermittent. If you urgently need to contact your child or a leader, you can call Glenrock on 4944 7303
What supervision is there at camp?
Benj (our Youth Pastor) is overseeing the event, with a team of 25 trained leaders. First aid officers are on site and available.
What do I need to bring?
+ Enough clothes for the weekend (including closed in shoes, swimmers, clothes suitable to run around in).
+ Waterbottle (essential)
+ Bedding (for bunk beds i.e sleeping bag and pillow)
+ Toiletries (including towel)
+ Bible and notepad (if you have one)
